DESCRIPTION
Our dried orange slices are a delicious snack with a bright orange color, a sweet taste and an intense orange fragrance. Their beautiful shape and color makes them an appealing garnish on pastry and in cocktails. You can also dip some in tea for a fantastic citrus aroma.
We grow our own oranges in a mild-wintered Tunisian region named the Cap Bon peninsula which is famed for the quality of its citrus. We harvest at optimum ripeness and process the fruit at our nearby factory on the same day for freshness. We wash and disinfect the oranges, then cut them in 5 mm slices for drying in a tunnel dehydrator. We keep the peel on the fruit because it is a rich source of dietary fiber — up to 15% of your daily need.
